Dave can smell marketing bullshit a mile away, so checks out the new RCA WiFi Free Energy Harvesting “Airnergy” device with some back of the envelope calculations. Marketing BS or can it actually work? Watch the RCA video here: www.youtube.com

i smell bullshit with your working out,you can see him looking off to the side where its wrote out for him
ur just a hater.
You accidentally picked up your camera’s remote (I think) instead of the phone battery at 8:44
great videos also thanks !
sorry i know this was a long time ago but haven’t people got in trouble for running coils under high voltage power lines to steal the power?
yeah and I’ve got a remote control jack off machine with a battery regen function! What the hell are they thinking? RCA has gone stupid on us!
Sir, i am not sure what wifi radio strength limits you have in Australia but at my place we often find a 2km+ long range 5Ghz transmitters, up to 5W for unshielded ones and 5W-150W for ones with special wire mesh shelters protecting people and/or animals from getting too close because that output levels are dangerous.
Btw i guess if you put that device exactly in the middle of group of 20 wifi routers then “maybe” it can gather enough energy to do any kind of charging? hehehe
How about the solar cells being inside the BEZEL surrounding the screen? All current phones have bezels, even the iPhone, and since the screen is facing upward, it makes perfect sense to use the spare space.
He is right, but he sounds dam annoying. Jst get to the point.
The only wireless energy divice i ever seen work was a crystal radio.
(continued) What was once considered a nuisance in TV receiver engineering, may one day be tapped to produce whatever wattage you desire.
I’ve been giving some extensive amount of time and effort to free energy, particularly in the receiver based. This IS possible, but one needs to understand that there is a great deal of wide band white noise in the TV channel frequency range that has more potential for charging than any single frequency receiver. Tesla seems to have utilized this energy. TV receiver engineering does discuss this noise factor. It is so great at some bandwidths that the desired frequency is unusable.
I got one. I thought it was working fine, but then I noticed my Tesla coil was on.
Any idea which even thinks about squandering energy from a potential source which already consumes electricity, is fail !

is the latest technology advance in Wifi Energy, unless RCA discovered something new?
its possible with power boost from wifi, but that small device i’m not sure if it will power enough.
My home routers are 600mW and the outdoor point to point ones are 1W.
It’s damn hard getting more than a few uA from right next to the things.
In Türi, Estonia people did that too, but, Dave. typical WiFi router has 37mW output power
In Germany during DDR-Time the residents near radio-stations “Stole” Energy from the Radio-Waves the transmitter emitted by putting up a dipole with the wavelength tuned to the frequency from the station and were able to operate a little lightbulb from it. But these stations had thousands of watts of transmitting power an therefore it worked pretty well (my grandpa did it too; Yes, I am German).
2.4GHz? Put it in a microwave for a quick charge!
k lol
If you do get one, post a teardown video or photos!
i would still buy one of those things! I just HAVE TO KNOW whats inside there!!
do you have one solar cell in a panel no …….. great video
